Re: Calendar View Form

From my testing the limits vary depending on if it is a form or a report, and the type of controls. On a report with text boxes and labels, I too only get 814. So you would have to use multiple sub...

Re: Conditionally present a Drop down list

You understand if you hide the combobox or modify a control in anyway it will change every representation of that control on a continuous form. Is that OK? Usually the answer is no. If that is OK...

Re: Conditionally present a Drop down list

If this is in single form view you use the on current event and the field1 afterUpdate to put the code

Re: Combobox abbreviating my columns

However, I still have no clue how that would even be possible, if that is really happening. Unless those are the PKs "K" and "N" and the op is concatenating a table with drop down lists. So the table...

Is that a single string "KICKBOXING + NINJUTSU" or are you concatenating?...

Re: Sorting records on a form with another form

This is my basic go to for filter and sort design. Two versions. One is the filter and sort controls on the form, the other uses a pop up.

Re: Default value of unbound text box

Yes everyone knows to persist a value you must be in design view, but no good vba coder does what you are suggesting to open in design view. There are many reasons not to open any object in design...

Re: Combo Filter as you type individual record

If I understand you correctly, you want two things. A find as you type combo box on a continuous form. If that is the case, there is 2 things to overcome. Find as you type, and the ability to do...

Re: Formatting Fixed Width Text by concatenating Multiple strings

You can make each column equal width by padding the string as necessary. Call this function in conjunction with your code before concatenating. Pass the string in and pad it as necessary.

Re: Requery List Boxes

There are other ways to do this, such as passing a reference for the calling form to the called form using openargs. Then have the called form do the requery.
