can't envision why this would be the case, but you can also pass values through the openargs parameter and then use the report open event or perhaps load or current events - or perhaps the subreport...

not clear to me what you are trying to do. listboxes have nothing to do with files. How are you populating the listboxes?

it's the sql to your query I was referring to, not the rowsource or code on the combo.

Also I don't recommend you use the change event to open a query - it will happen every time you enter or...

'Cannot have aggregate function in expression'

I had an issue a while back to identify duplicates in transaction data - data came from multiple sources and no primary key in any of them - and about 30 fields where the duplicate might occur.

it provides a way for a user to select the ID's they want to report on - rather than writing them down, then rentering them when they want to run the report
