Re: Copy query results into email w/ bullet points

Very quick rundown of what you want to do;
Add two variables, one to hold your "Current Category" and one to hold your HTML.
PRIOR to assigning .HTMLBody, you will have something that does

Re: All is right in AWF

You do realize that this profession is in danger of being banned by A.O.C. and her "Green new deal" because it is not a zero-emission industry! I would also hate to be the one working out what carbon...

Colin,

I shall guess that AB isn't in the UK and may have a differing experience. The problem with talking about education systems is that they differ considerably from country to country. Talking...

Re: NASA Study Indicates Antarctica is Gaining More Ice Than It's Losing -

Sounds like a reference to the National Workers Socialist Party or the Young Pioneers. Unfortunately it is a very common tactic for any political group who wishes to gain or remain in power.

Re: Report Keeps Breaking

Have you done a Compact and Repair lately? If not, I'd make a copy of your database and C&R that first. Check if you lost anything. If you haven't, see if that fixes your problem.

Re: I Need VBA code to Update multiple tables over network

Until we see what you are doing we won't be able to give advice.
You should also describe what you are TRYING to do, that way we can see if you are doing something different.

Re: Runntime Error 3464

Errorcode 3464 means you have a type mismatch. You are passing the wrong type of variable to something.

To debug, I would start by removing the asWhere from your DLookup. If it work, then set...

Re: keeping the value entered in a text box as default for next records in a form

On a continuous form, if you use an unbound textbox for entry, it will retain its value. You could then update selected records to that value.

I have a form for entering medical information that...

Re: What is the best way to distribute a total batch weight into multiple reports?

Can you write out the rules by which you break up the batch?
Also, does this need to check availability for each blender prior to assigning?

Re: weird behaviour of calculated fields

To find out where you are getting this massive slow down, one thing you can do is put a little checking code in your current code. I'd have labels on the report that are set to "0" to begin with....

Re: I Need VBA code to Update multiple tables over network

Can you view your query in SQL mode then post the SQL here?
That may give us an idea of the next question(s) to ask, as well as help identify if there is anything we can see that is odd.

Re: I Need VBA code to Update multiple tables over network

Just to make sure, you've checked to see that one of the processes has not opened the back end in exclusive mode? This could happen for one of many reasons.

Also, is this happening when doing...

Re: weird behaviour of calculated fields

Very very glad it all worked out!

For data normalization, do you have one table that you enter journal entries into or is this a "One table for IN, one table for OUT" arrangement?

To add to the others, when I use a where clause I normally create it in a string variable first before passing it. This lets me make sure I know EXACTLY what I am feeding to Access.

Re: Form is passing a '0" to Report when combo box is left blank on form

So to be clear, your report is showing a number that does not have a value as "0" instead of leaving it blank, correct?

Would you ever want to show a "0" on the report?
