I ran a quick test against a mssql express 12 db and this worked

The first table [TestDates] represents yours existing table

Insert some test data - including a record...

When you divide month by day, and then by year, then you get a very small number!

Your db is a mess, and you should not operate on strings when dealing with dates. Further, gogle reserved words...

I think you have too many string concatenations.

Use interim strings.

Strg = strg & newstrg.
Etc

Could it be you are exceeding the maximum length of a string?

How many characters is it getting chopped at (i.e. len)

My guess is you have a value with a character that breaks your xml.

My guess is its a slash (/), double quote ("), single quote ('), a greater than (>) or a less than (<) symbol. Test your data...

Happy to help. The date thing is certainly a potential issue, but because of how you were setting it I don't think it was one here.

I think the problem is with the clauses out of order. WHERE comes before ORDER BY.

SQL Dates must be formatted to #mm/dd/yyyy#

for example
Format([eom], "mm/dd/yyyy")

I prefer to do it all in one step and explicitly escape the literal characters:

& Format([eom],...
