I actually said decompile which is not the same as compile.
However with no app, I agree that is irrelevant.

AFAIAA you've never said which version of Access you are using nor the specific...

Did you decompile your app? Also did you check for missing references?

Re: SendKeys problem w/Win10

Firstly I can also confirm SendKeys works in Windows 10...though its use isn't recommended in any version of Access/Windows for reasons of reliability...

As an example, using SendKeys "{F1}"...

Re: How to enable a button if any of controls changed

@MajP
Well perhaps you're right about me being pedantic.
I must have been channeling my inner MajP when I wrote that.

Some might think the point was to give you something pedantic to say in...

Re: How to enable a button if any of controls changed

I agree. The form dirty event is definitely the simplest method if you do have a form with bound controls

Re: How to enable a button if any of controls changed

Arnel's idea should indeed work but it should be a Private Function.

Just tested the Form_Dirty event on both an unbound form and a bound form with an unbound control. Neither work but it of...

Re: Unbound Form "RunTime Error 3134"

Some time ago I created an app listing all Access error codes and descriptions.
This was partly because I got fed up by not knowing what a particular error number meant in forum questions like...

Re: workplace management- add record on map

The image in this thread is just saved as a local file and displayed in a standard image control. No need for a Web browser control.

Its not my thread though the OP seems to have gone AWOL....

Re: workplace management- add record on map

That is a static image saved locally and displayed in an image control.
The push pins are added to the image before downloading.
When the nudge buttons or zoom controls are clicked a new image is...

It may be nothing to do with being a 365 insider but a couple of similarly irritating issues led me to drop out of being an unpaid beta tester for MS.
I actually reported some issues in early...

Actually that's not quite true
Whilst I often download images to a local folder before displaying, you can display images direct from their URL if you use the ActiveX Microsoft...

Are you entering data directly in an unbound form or, as...
