that is an idea, but then i would have to put every supplier into the table, which wouldn't be hard but not every supplier may have an issue and also would need to update the table in time for new...

yeah but need to count if its pcc and if its been received or not, so have done as you laid out in your previous message and I'm not sure if its working as both counts show zero

i am an idiot, as i cant even read what i had typed as i have typed dcount ( thats what i have and need ) and somehow got confused and typed dlookup

ok with trial and error and re-reading this http://access.mvps.org/access/general/gen0018.htm i put the speech marks which got rid of the error but the rest of the if statement will not work

trying to change how some buttons are shown/hidden. at the moment they are shown based on the PC logon based on the Environ("username")

cheers for that, ok well here is my start ( not much no laughing at the back )

so the main rota would be populated by manager and then the weekly rota would be run via magic ( sql and vba ) pulled...

yeah there is more conditions but just want to know if you can pick random people from a pool ( as long as they are not on holiday or off for another reason

if not then stick to manual and excel...
