Hi

No idea why I said the opposite before - brain not in gear!

Re: Count/sum of records in query

Use a crosstab query, if the table name is "tblProject".
TRANSFORM Count(MethodeID) AS CountOfMethodeID
SELECT [Project]
FROM tblProject
GROUP BY [Project]
PIVOT "Method " & [MethodeID];

Re: Calendar object at parameter value box

On your form you have applied a mask to the input box, simply set it to Short date, then the date picker will appear.

In your query your parameters don't look correct. Use the builder icon to find...

Re: Combobox filter using VBA

I am trying to understand what you are trying to do, so bear with me.

According to the results you say you are expecting, it seems you want to only show billings for either the Standard Location...

Re: Help with SQL for combobox

I see just 2 differences from the original Code. This part has been moved from the end to the beginning:
LEFT JOIN qryMessauftragPerson
ON tblMessanlage.ID = qryMessauftragPerson.ID

and you...

Re: Enter parameter value for combobox filter

I notice from your combo box query image that tblBemusterungsstelle doesn't include the field indBemusterungsstelle.

Re: Help with SQL for combobox

Sounds like you're doing what I would do. I assumed you tested running the query from the query designer. If it runs, the sql should be right, except for criteria expressions that look up from forms...

Re: Error message: You can not paste a form into itself

Seems quite self explanatory. You have a circular reference in your subforms.

Create a form in design view, save it.
Drag the form from the database window onto itself. You get that error. Click...

Re: Update Backend design from Frontend

There are many parts to this question.

You SHOULD start from a properly split database in which the front-end has either no tables at all or only tables used for a temporary staging area. Some...

Re: Cascading Combo Box with Value List Row Source Type

Hi Shafara7,

In all the examples I've seen, the FilterOn property comes after the Filter, e.g.

Me.Filter = "Country = 'USA'"
Me.FilterOn = True
not the other way round. It may not make a...

Re: Error when changing record data in subform

You need to modify the row source.
Suggest you revert to earlier code which was editable.

Each extra...

Re: Cascading Combo Box with Value List Row Source Type

I agree, otherwise anytime you add an inspector, anytime you add a project, anytime you change an inspector on a project, you've got to go back into Design View for the Form, to do so, as opposed to...

Re: Cascading Combo Box with Value List Row Source Type

I think you'd be better off finding out why you are having problems with a table query?, and ask for assistance on that. That method also allows for adding new criteria easily?

Re: Cascading Combo Box with Value List Row Source Type

If you must use Value Lists as the row sources, this makes it difficult but not impossible to do what you are asking.

I am assuming your row sources have 2 rows for each combo box, each...
