Further to the responses so far, could you tell us a little about your query and what's special about "the first record"? There may be some other options if we knew the underlying issue....

Do you record revaluationDate when you revalue an asset?
If so, use the latest revaluationDate to find the latest revaluationValue.

Is this what you are trying to do? Instead of referring to number, use the actual field name.
I don't see a field with a name like last stored invoice number.

Its returning a number incremented by 1 on form load. But i want it to fetch a number from 2nd row of that table Fil03....

Just a question re your requirement.

If you have/could have multiple comments per Supplier, wouldn't you want a CommentDate or some other attribute regarding comments for your use?
