I dealt with BT in my last job, pure incompetence in most departments. :banghead: Even if you found someone to go the extra mile, they would be thwarted by some other department. I feel your pain.:)...

Not being condescending, honest, but I speak it as i see it.
What you have achieved with your skill level is impressive.

However you have to know your limits.? The fact that you have had no...

Re: Powershell Commands through VBA

Re: Remove letter from text field

I can think of two ways.

use the Mid function

tt="M853425"
? mid(tt,2)
853425

Re: get details of song being played

Well I think you are trying to run before learning to walk.

Have a look here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/wmp/object-model-reference-for-scripting for info on working with WMP....

Re: get details of song being played

Neither do I TBH. I would be looking at storing the duration as the files are being selected and summing the duration.

You are already using the duration of the file you are going to play to pause...

Look for a book on Excel VBA then.

Post your new project and I will try and...

You are already getting the duration, as you pause the code for that period, before selecting and playing another file.?

You have not told me...

Re: Opening a new linked form gives #Name error

My method was just to set the control value to the OpenArgs, not it's DefaultValue, however I have since realised that in some circumstances that would not be the best way.

That is how I have done...

That sub then...

Re: Opening a new linked form gives #Name error
