Re: Creating a Stacked Column Chart

That Excel chart does not show stacked column. Access version will not have multi-line x-axis labels.

Re: search listbox problem

Problem with this approach is that Access drops trailing spaces from data. So when placing cursor with SelStart the trailing space is dropped each time. I have never used Change event and I really...

Re: Query for multi-value combo-box

Your query is not correct. Review https://support.office.com/en-us/article/using-lookup-and-multivalued-fields-in-queries-6f64f92d-659f-411c-9503-b6624e1e323a#bm3

Re: Creating a Stacked Column Chart

Provide sample data. I presume Action is a text field.

Show a mock up of desired graph.

Do charts need to be generated for each UserID/Action?

Bind form or report to table. Bind textboxes...

Re: Can I add an IF to a WHERE statement in a Link Query.

Do you allow empty strings in text fields? - I NEVER do.

Advise not to use spaces nor punctuation/special characters in naming convention.

Yes, IIf() expressions are possible in WHERE clause...

Re: Re-using deleted primark key

OR: running C&R after INSERT will reset the autonumber seed. However, entering value into autonumber field is not really what OP is asking about.

Re: Re-using deleted primark key

Yes, Access will allow it.

It's the check field in BE table that has me concerned. This is where user conflicts can occur.

I've never had to do anything like this, although read and...

Re: Where In operator

Again, CROSSTAB column headers must all be generated from data or explicitly specified with IN() array list and that list cannot be dynamic. So no, cannot be built with a function.

Could use...

Re: Where In operator

As already pointed out, this won't work. Not even in CROSSTAB pivot clause. CROSSTAB headings are either all dynamic based on data or all explicitly specified.

So how many of these other values...

Re: Where In operator

How many of these 'dynamic' values are there? Post 1 shows only 3 yet Post 3 indicates there are more.

Why did question in other thread use NOT qualifier?

Re: Possible to clear clip board by VBA in Access 2007?

I agree with Micro, better ways to pass info between forms than messing with clipboard.

I will add global variables and TempVars to the list.

Re: Times from Strings

Thanks, Colin - I do see now how I was reading question and results incorrectly. So "nn:ss" is likely what OP wants. Unless this is really about elapsed time.
