I was wondering if anyone uses a template to print cheques through access? Has anyone had to do this? Is there a report template you know of?

What would be the best way to do this? Use a report?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Jordan

Never done this before. You need a special printer to handle the check forms (paper documents), I would think.

Yes, a report is the right way to do this.

General (very broad-brush) approach:

Build the report to the exact size of the form.

Take good measurements of where everything is on the paper. Move fields around to get them aligned. Hint: Look up the word "Twips" - then recognize that each field has four measurements: Top, Left, Height, Width - that are all in twips. Use the property sheet to adjust the positions and sizes.

Set the report option to Continuous display. Print your report.

Test this carefully before going into production.

Hi The_Doc_Man
I want badly to "Set the report option to Continuous display" to print on a continuous paper ie no form feed but ... I can't find yr suggest 'report option'.
I am using a Panasonic Dot matric KX-P1121 printer that has no continous paper and I really don't know how to make a custom continous paper in the 'Server Properties' dialog box of the printer. You help please.
