The Ashes are yours my friend, England have been completely outplayed in the first 3 tests...

We are just playing for pride now, but given our performances, I think it will be a 5 - 0 win for your boys...

Well done...

92,091 Attendance for day one.

That is a big crowd and a world record.

The series stands at 4 - 0

One more to go for a whitewash.

I wonder if our guys will get Knighted for the big win. After all your guys did and it was not a whitewash.

I am really enjoying the cricket this year. The best battle for a long time.

Cheers, and see you again at Sydney on New Years Day. :)

That's it folks.

England all out on the third day.

A five Test Series whitewash.

Could someone tell the Queen about this and suggest that all the Aussie Cricketers get a Knight Hood.

Not sure about your guys having a knighthood, but certainly the english guys should have theirs taken away..

I am embarrased to be English....

Still we have the Summer Ashes to work towards, that will give us time to lick our wounds, recoup, analyze what went wrong and fix it...

Hopefully the next Ashes will be a better affair...

Well done to your guys, a well deserved win.

I did not realise this until today.

The Ashes is the oldest continuous sporting completion in the world.

The Aussies took 100 wickets in this series. A task that has never happened before.

We now have the one day series. A different game.

Cheers.

Ok so you wipped a bunch of wimps, that hardly deserves a knighthood, mind you they gave one to Alex Ferguson.

Cricket is a daft game , but I was there when Laker and Loch wipped the Aussies at Old Trafford.

Why do you put your own team down. They played their best as true sportsmen do. You do not appear to be a proud Englishman.

The mention of the Knighthood goes back a few years ago when most of the English team were knighted for the rescue back of the ashes from an unfit Aussie team.

You then lost the ashes on our next encounter.

The Pomes played well but this time the Aussies had their measure. Such is the nature of the game.

It is a great game. I look forward to the next one.

Typical of the press for reporting the wrong thing.

The score is now 6 Games down. The Poms have got to win something soon.

Today is Australia Day. Similar to 4th July.

We had a our last day of Cricket for the formal season against England.

Final score 9 Games to Australia and 1 Game to England.

Congratulations to both sides and thank for a great Summer of Cricket.

Congratulations in particular to Alastair Cook who was mentioned in the Australia day honours for his services to Australian Cricket.

So the British ladies team have done what the Men couldn't, and have retained the Ashes... well done the Sheila's

Maybe the ladies should have turned out against the Aussie mens team, we may have given you more of a fight... :)

Now that is sexist.

But I like it.

There sure were some good looking girls there.

I hope the sport gets stronger and stronger. It should be at least televised for the odd session.
