I would like to be able to lock the form when completed but allow certain people access to form, is this possible using a macro? If so some guidance would be appreciated.

Would like to secure the completed form, its a activity form that I would like to lock when completed and give the ability to open it to a list of supervisors

Saw the link but I think you could accomplish the same just by opening the form based on a snapshot recordset. Regardless of the method, some flag needs to tell Access the record is complete. Then open the form with something like Forms!frmMyForm.RecordsetType = Snapshot ought to make the form locked from data edits.

Hmm, I read to fast and thought the OP was just looking to limit editing.
