We have a very left wing show called Q&A on the gov't channel, sort of our counterpart of the BBC. Basically an audience with questions and a panel of 5 (different ones each week) and the host.
A few months ago one of the science blokes on the panel said a very well know conservative radio broadcaster had all his numbers wrong on CO2. HOWEVER, he must have forgotten about 3 years earlier he was interviewed by the radio host and agreed with everything and reinforced it. Naturally the radio bloke replayed the interview many times over
Obviously the scientist had got on the climate change payroll
We have this climate scientist bloke Tim Flannery who in the very early 2000s said it would not rain again in Australia etc. He was made Australian of the Year. The recent floods in Northern Queensland covered an area bigger than England and other European countries.
It will be interesting to see what happens in 5 or 10 years as all the predictions fall over.
As I said earlier, if you can get a fortune in gov't subsidies to put up windmills then good luck to you. However, how people believe this nonsense and just what will happen out of Australia erecting windmills everywhere has me beat.
It seems to really such in the inner city people in cities like Sydney. These people have more earings than a curtain rod.
