Is there a way of doing this with macros for use in browser? I have a hard time with macro syntax.

I think macros aren't capable of doing that. VBA is needed for complex code like this

VBA cant be used in the browser though? :/ Is there a alternative close to this I could use with macros?

Ah sorry - thought you meant a web browser control in Access

You are correct that VBA cannot be used in a web browser such as Chrome/Edge etc. However, Access web databases no longer exist so you can't go down that route anyway.

I was using it in sharepoint. I put one on sharepoint to play with in the browser.

the newest, which I picked up through Microsofts essentials plan. I assume its the newest its webapp based
