Hi,
My name is Don. I live in Rhode Island and started in IT 35 years ago as a mainframe dinosaur. I still pine for those days.

I have been using Access for data mining and analysis for about 15 years. I use a lot of ODBC connections for various data sources and import/export specs for pulling data into my databases. I really don't do much with the forms/reports anymore.

My hobbies are music and travel. I attend Newport Folk Fest every year and last October visited Ireland and Northern Ireland for the first time. I hope to someday visit England, Wales and Scotland.

There is a Jurassic section here-- huge dinosaurs such as Stegosaurus(IBM 1620), Ceratosaurus(IBM 360-70), Brachiosaurus(PDP-11/03 --VAX), and Allosaurus(Cobol, PL/1,Macro-11, Mark4, QuickTran, Fortran, APL...) and a bunch of new reptiles (vba, C#,vb.net, python, ruby, xml, json.....)
I'm sure there is room for a mainframe dinosaur.
