I have an Access 2007 Data Project (ADP) database using a Ms Sql 2012Express db server.
I know this is not a supported platform and the project option goes away I think in Access 203. While I'm having no issues with this configuration I'm thinking I should switch to linked tables to come back into the fold. Does anyone have experience converting a project db to a linked db configuration? If so, any insights into what I'm up against and gotchas I should prepare for would be greatly appreciated.
My db has about 150 tables and I don't have any experience with linked tables.
All code is in vba - no macros - db access using ADO.
Operating system Windows 7 - 64 bit
Ms SQL 2012Express - 64 bit
Access 2007 - 32 bit
Thanx in advance.
