Welcome to the forum JJ,
and;
Recently, I landed a position as a trainee working with Access, SQL and VBA.
that's excellent, there's nothing better than learning something new!
I say this from experience, I've always wanted to be able to develop apps for Android and recently took Flutter and Dart, using the Visual Studio Code IDE, a brilliant combination, much easier to set up than my attempts a few years back.
I will say that it's been an educational experience, jumping in at the deep end, and trying to learn a new language. I thought it would be relatively easy because of my experience with VBA, however I find myself struggling over what I know are the simplest things! It makes me appreciate the difficulties people coming to Access World Forums (AWF), new to VBA face. Even if you have experience in other languages there's so much fundamental stuff to learn about a new language. Mind you I will say my debugging skills have come to the fore, and I do find that it relatively easy to debug dart code because of my experience with VBA.
