Hi Folks,

I decided to reset my security as my DB wasn't secure. Following advice from GHudson on a different thread, I combined the front end and back end into one db on my PC. I then went through the routine of runing the securitywizard, creating a blank db and importing all the objects, setting the Admin Password etc.

Once that was all done, I copied the database to the back end location, deleted the appropriate objects from the front and back and linked the tables.

The wif is in the same directory as the front end database and is distributed to all users.

Here's what strikes me as odd. If I click on the back end in explorer, I get the "You do not have permission" messge and cannot open it, but if I try the same thing with the front end, it opens fine with no password.

I have checked that I am joined to the default wif, and the front end admin password is set by logging in as admin so I am at a bit of a loss to understand what I have missed. Any ideas?: confused:
