Hi All,

I have a table that I wish to add some formatting.

I have a field called Stand Down and a field called Hours.
The Stand Down Field is a tick box and the Hours field is a number which has hours used.
I wish to have the hours to change to zero if the box in the Stand Down field is ticked.

Is this possible?

No, not as you've described it. Tables are just heaps of memory where you throw data.

You can accomplish what you want via a form. There you can apply logic and fo what you want.

There's no events triggered in tables. What you want to do, is normally achieved in a bound form where there is an event triggered when there is a change.

Alternatively, you could run an update query which will set the contents of a field to zero only if the corresponding field in a record has a certain value.
