FireFox Freezing Up (1 Viewer)

My FireFox is Freezing Up. Is anybody else have problems with it. I am trying to determine if it's FireFox or my computer. I have started to set up my Internet Explore, but I don't like it, and it's been so long since I used it that I forgot how to do a lot of stuff. I hate all the learning curves.:banghead:

I recently switched from IE to FF v42 and really like it. It seems pretty good and catching itself stuck. Just my $0.02

what do you mean by "catching itself stuck"?

They actually put in a nice "OOPS" message and say they need to close and reopen. No such action from IE. I've seen the FF message twice in maybe two weeks.

FWIW, I'm not having trouble with FF.

My IE was freezing up constantly and I saw an ad for v42 FF and thought I'd try it. Boy is it ever faster than IE!

BTW Paul, TV looks like you got lots of snow with that last storm.

We didn't get much in town but they got a couple of feet higher up. We need a lot more to fill up all the empty lakes. Hope you didn't get hit too hard.

Okay, now *I'm* having hangups in FF. It figures since someone asked about it. I did a Refresh of FF and it seems to be better. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox/fix-problems

I've disabled Adobe Flash and so far so good. Quite fast!

I also added the Adblock Plus add-on to FireFox and it gets rid of those pesty slide out ads that started recently. FF is now running fast again.

I should have mentioned that. I've been running it for a while, and it does speed things up.
