The only reason he made it was because W is so bad...;)
Then McCain couldn't have been any better in the eyes of the electorate:p

I hope he makes you proud Alisa, I have little doubt he will. Regardless of whether he is able to change policy, this win is certainly a boost to the self esteem of the ordinary person in the street. Well done Mr President :D

My only bad comment is to do with our very own First Minister - Get a grip Mr Salmond! Just because some old biddie says she traced Obama's ancestery back to 11th centuary Scotland - which is dubious to say the least, does not allow him to lay claim to being of Scots decent - he clearly identifies with Africa first and foremost - let them have their day...

Thanks ouma. I think he will do great things, but like he said in his victory speech last night, it's not really about him, it's about us and what we can accomplish by working together.

I sure hope he can keep to that. Then he will truly go down in history - imagine, a politician who actually keeps his promises, that would be unique! Put him up there with Alex Salmond :D LOL...

Don't tarnish his reputation by putting him anywhere near Alex Salmond:eek:
Quite right, Salmond's nothing more than a smug sanctimonious twat!

In the form of a Barbara Walters style question, in one word, what is your opinion of George Galloway?

Nothing wrong with wearing a kilt. I don't think I have ever seen Alex Salmond wearing one tho'. At least not recently

I have, at the local St Andrew's day bash last year.

Speaking of kilts though, nobody wears one quite the way Axl Rose does, it should be law, if you don't look that good in a kilt leave it to the rock stars :D
