Hi

I have a problem with multiple user access. I am simply adding a few measures to an existing database used my people in another office.

The problem is that when I test it with a colleague in my office when we scroll through records/add dummy data she gets the above error messages.

I have checked the advanced settings on both PC's and I have "open database with record level locking" checked and "No locks" checked, and have tried opening both via shortcuts and access, open, filename.

I have tried compacting and repairin the databse with no success.

I can't split the db into FE BE as once I finish the the amendments I will email it out to users on a seperate stand alone network from my one.

It appeared to have worked ok before I got my grubby mits on it but now after my amedments do i have the above errors.

I would greatly appreciate any help!

You cannot expect the database to work with multiple users without being split. It will corrupt.
Even single user databases should be split and mailing it out is not a reason to leave it unsplit. The FE and BE can be in the same folder.
