Hello,

After using the Beta Version of Office 2007 i uninstalled it and tried to use out look but get the message.

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook."

I have reinstalled outlook but i still get the same message. Any sugesstions?

First thing to try is repairing the file, go to c:\windows\system32 (assuming windows is installed on c:\) and double click on Fixmapi.exe.

If that doesn't work go to (or search for it) c:\program files\common files\system\MSMAPI\1033 and rename the MSMAPI32.dll to MSMAPI32.old and then open Outlook again (it should make a new dll)

You are a star! The second option worked.

Thanks for your help.
