I am trying to find a way to convert an HTML file into either an XML or an ACCESS db.
I found a couple programs via google but they are not working as I need.

Anybody have any idea?
thanks

Bottom line is I found a web site that had names and address listed but I want that in an access db to make mailing labels.

I wrote a program in Access to grab data from the web and put it into Oracle several years back.

It will require some moderately heavy duty programming skills. You should look into IE automation and ADO or DAO. You'll most likely have to do it in VBA.

Yeah I was trying to find something someone else wrote to use.
I found this nifty program but the one feature I need won't work.
http://xmlwrench.com/

maybe someone else could look at it and see if it will work for you.

I already sent an email asking the author whats wrong but no answer yet.

This is a one time thing for me, I could possibly just copy and paste the information faster but was just looking to see if someone had already figured out how to do it.

Got this email back from the author.
You aren't doing anything wrong. But there is one additional thing you need
to do to get it to work right. Blame the author :)

XMLWrench enables or gray's out buttons depending on whether they are
relevant. This button only gets enabled if XMLWrench thinks the source file
is html. This sometimes doesn't work right. But on the menu there is an
option to change the file type. Use this to set the file type to html or
xhmtl and the button should then be enabled.

Cheers,

Nick.

Got it converted now I'll try to get it imported into access later tonight.
