So, doing some maintenance on my dB a couple of weeks ago. This involved taking the dev file to a couple of different computers and opening it in 2010, 2013, and 2019.

Everything is functioning fine, except Access is now trying to do a full save every few minutes. Not a record save through a form, but a full IDE and design level save.

This is really annoying as I am typing code or making queries and suddenly the window pops up.

Looking through the File/Options area and the VBA/Options dropdown, I don't see a place where this timer is controlled.

How the heck to I turn this back off?

Thank you,
Scott

Hi Scott. Are there any forms open while you're trying to do your work? If so, does the form have any Timer event on it?

Nope, no forms or timers. This is somehow embedded, similar to autosave in Word

Found it. Turns out it was MZ-Tools, Personal Settings, Open Documents Autosaving
