Lock Email Format in Outlook (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how to lock the format of an email using outlook? i know how to do it using html, but i just want to send it text and keep the same format throughout. say if we were to send out a marketing email. any help would be appreciated

You can change your send options to either plain or rich text but the format of the receivers settings (under preferences > E-mail options) will be what they choose - Is that what you mean ?

Thats what i thought. but my boss wants me to see if it can be locked no matter what. i told him no, unless we send it pdf or something along those sorts

Correct and of course even if you send it in HTML format many companies and individuals have disabled HTML mails because of their security risk (they can contain code).

You'll also find that pdf may be stripped - clicky

EDIT - Oh and if it's 'marketing e-mail' - to me that's spam ;)
