Hello from Italy!

I'm happy to join this forum, which I consider very professional, even on the advice of isladogs!
Maybe there are not many Italians and I hope to contribute with my empirical programming knowledge and find the answers to my questions.
Sorry since my bad english

I'm an Italian teacher. I'm not a professional programmer. But I would like to open a small company to develop software for schools

I like MS Access because it allows you to quickly create management applications. Programming in VBA is fun and I like effective and elegant solutions. I think I'm particularly attentive to the user interface.

I enclose two screenshots of two of my small applications.

I have never developed client \ server applications and I would like to try (maybe with MySQL).

Re: Hello from Italy!

Hi again
For info you can't do a number of things until you have 10 posts.
One of those restrictions is private messages.

Welcome, santifrichi. Another of our members is a USA citizen in Italy. If you decide to stick around, you might run into him here.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad your grandfather is. I still am not.

There are few Italians here. I hope to exchange some advice with them too.

My English must improve, I know!

Re: Hello from Italy!

Actually, your English isn't bad. At most a LITTLE rough - but understandable.

Yes, I'm glad to be a grandfather. The kids are great. I watched two of them grow from little bambino to definitely NOT so little. One is 23 and now towers over me. The other local grandkid is 12 and has already matched my height, but he still has two more growth spurts if I remember how it was for his brother. The third is also 12 but lives in another state. We don't see him as often as we see the two local boys.

Ciao and welcome from bella Napoli!

As Doc as said, I am displaced from Virginia until July 2021. Maybe I can assist you with your English in exchange for assistance with my Italian.

Benvenuto in AWF, ci vediamo!
