Sorry, I just saw the whole intro post. I've already posted a few times.
I took an Access class a few years back. Not sure what version it was then. I have created a small db for my job. I do classroom observations and need to track who, what, where, when, etc. I bought the book "Access 2007:The Missing Manual" and have used that and sites like this to teach myself how to build it. But I find that the book doesn't address a lot of the needs that I have.
I've basically been learning through trial and error and have already tore apart the db and rebuilt it a few times to make it conform to the "rules." For the most part it's been doing what I need it to do, but as I need more functionality I've been building more reports/forms etc. and running into conundrums.
I have to say I am learning a great deal from this forum. It has been a great resource. I may ask a lot of silly questions so try to bear with me!
