Hello from a confused chemist (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd say hello before posting my query.

I'm an atmospheric chemist working on a research project (see link at end if interested) gathering information on contamination and public health problems caused by conflict with a view to creating better protection from the long term impacts of conflict. Quite a drawn out process and some days feel like :banghead:

For my work I've been building a database to document sites worldwide with suspected contamination. This will ultimately be the source of info for an online map to demonstrate the extent of the problem and to enable us to identify sites that require environmental assessment.

I understand computers more than the average user and have a bit of programming knowledge that I picked up to aid my research at university. That said, I'm fairly new to database design.
