Linked SharePoint list to Access Web (1 Viewer)

Good Morning!
I am very new at SharePoint and with Access/Access Web. We have a SharePoint list (I guess you would call it the front end), that multiple people enter data. I have it linked to Access so I can create reports etc. However, using the Access Web, trying to create an web query, it does not recognize the linked table as a table option. I can build a client query no problem, but they are not compatable to build any web reports. I guess my question is..Is there a way to get the web query/report to recognize the linked table, or maybe I'm linking it wrong? Any quidance would really be appreciated!

Web queries in 2010 style web databases only allow you to use "web tables" as their source - essentially published web tables within the Access Services site. Similarly, web reports can only use web tables or web queries as the source for their data. It is not possible to base a web report in a 2010 style web database off a external linked table because it is not a published web table.
