Hello,

I am pretty new to access....i am also a self taught user who has been using Access to make my life easier....

I have found that there are so many tasks that a database and a bit of automation can do to free myself of routine administrative work.

My co-workers has been noticing and asking to use my tools.

I would really like to help but require help myself so i'm here to learn more.

Tricia - welcome to the forum. And welcome a second time to the eye-opening world of TOOLSMITHING, which was one of my specialties when I was working with the USA Dept. of Defense as a systems administrator.

You have realized a WONDERFUL and very useful fact. Here's this expensive piece of electronics sitting on your desk that has the potential to do a LOT of your repetitive, time-consuming work if only you can figure out how to make it do that work for you. And when you succeed in each task, you look like a genius to the hard-working people in your office. Just remember, according to Thomas Edison, "genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."
