not a programmer but some work for a media organisation and it is screaming at me to get a programme written that can take over the current manual effort required to get some things done.
will post details hopefully in the right forum to get some ideas as to how i can improve the current situation.

Hello, Mikenz, and welcome. For what it is worth, it is always good to have a target project because that can help direct your focus. So the good news is you have direction. The bad news (right now) is that you aren't sure how to get there. All of us here have been there and done that. (And possibly bought, washed, and wore out that T-shirt.)
