Are colourful reports better than BW. Do you have any feedback?

color can make some important things stand out,( maroon, red, yellow highlight)
and lesser items fall to the background (gray, black, drk blue)

Agree with previous comments but, to be effective, use colour sparingly.
Excessive use of colour can be distracting and look a mess

Not to mention the cost of color printing. It is a lot cheaper and most companies have color printers these days but don't waste ink. Use color sparingly. Also, if the reports might have to be printed in B&W, make sure that your color choices are still distinguishable if they are important to understanding the data (negative amounts in red rather than with a leading minus sign).
