Disappearing Form (1 Viewer)

Hi

I have a button on a form (been there for years).

All I’ve done is delete it and the form then disappears from form view.

I’ve not saved so started the change again. Visible = No, again blank screen.

The form is a menu. No records.

Compacted but still doesn’t work

Any ideas??

Setting Visible to no is not the same as deleting. So I am confused. Sounds like you are changing the form Visible property.

If I make any change to the button apart from moving it, such as renaming or changing it to invisible causes the whole form to disappear.

If that's the case, it sounds like your form is corrupted.
Try decompiling which will fix any corrupted code.
However, if form objects are damaged, create a new form and copy all objects and code to that. Decompile first or corrupted code will copy as well.

is your form a popup or modal? If so, sometimes it can go offscreen if you go from design view to normal view. Particulualry if you have multiple screens. Save the form, then open from the navigation pane.

You can also right click on the form in the navigation pane and select design view - it should return

Also do you have autocentre set to yes?

For some reason it was the Pop up. The form has been used for years....

I moved the form slightly. Saved, put Pop up back on. Saved and now works fine.
