I accidentally right click the .ldb extension and changed the openwith program with ADOBE. How and what program do I choose the make the .ldb (access 2010) be read by the right program? Thanks

It will open with anything you are running. If you want it to open on a double click, the easiest way is to right-click and select "notepad"

I would not open the ldb directly. I would be inclined to copy it, and open the copy. I don't know for certain, but it is possible that opening it directly might cause problems if other users need to use it while you have it open.

when you do openwith, isn't there a tick box to select "always use this programme".

There's no "undo" though. If you change the default, you need to manually change it (back) to a different default.

access is creating this file. it's purpose is to dump who has opened the db.
so there is no harm if you accidentally associated it with any program.
