Datasheet - Secret Column (1 Viewer)

So I have a column, that I would like to hide and not allow some users the ability to unhide this column.

column-name.columnhidden = true should do it.

now how do you not let them unhide it ?

or am I trying to do something Access doesn't know how to ?

You can disable shortcut menus such as this. To do so, untick 'Allow Default Shortcut Menus' in Access Options.

Of course, knowledgeable users can alter that setting.
If that is also an issue, it is also possible to remove the Access Options menu but to do so requires creating a customised ribbon.
