I'm an self taught Access user with a desire to learn more. I originally created my database in R-Base and loved it. It seemed to work the way I think. That was back in the late 80's. Then in the 90's, we adopted Microsoft Office for our community needs, and I had to switch to Access. Microsoft and I don't seem to think alike. I look something up in the Index of a manual, and frequently find nothing. Later I may discover what term is being used by accident. Annoying! I've learned a lot over the years, however. My database is for our community archives which I'm trying to put in order and catalog. I could use some advice from time to time and hope I find it here. I'll be back with questions soon -- some of them pretty simple.
