I've got a spreadsheet that I put together for the company's metrics. As it sits it works great.

I'm pulling in a query from an Access DB for some of the data. I realized yesterday that I cannot open/run the query from another computer. The query is looking to: c:\docs\databases\techhistory.mdb

How can I change that so it looks to: \\pc15\pc15-c\docs\databases\technistory.mdb

I need to do that so it can be run from anywhere on the network - not just from my local PC.

I could not find anywhere that would show me the properties or path where the query is coming from.

Thanks!

somewhere in your data connections is the connection to the database (and thus, the query)

either in code,
or Data tab, connections

Ive looked under the Data Tab / Connections
And while it lists the connection it doesn't show me the path to the database anywhere I've seen.

Ok... Found it.
Needed to open up the query in Excel with the Query Editor
There is a Data Source settings button there that allowed me to edit the path to the query.

Knew if I dug around enough I'd find something :)

Thx
