I am looking to partner up with someone who wants to learn Android.

Over the years I have had several looks at learning Java to program Android.

Up till now it's always seemed to be difficult, too hard to stick with in the "painful" "slow" initial learning process; you may know it as the flat part of the learning curve that we all go through when learning something new.

I think it's even more painful when you have some programming experience (in a different language) because it's like going right back to kindergarten for no justifiable reason.

However things have recently changed for the better! There is a brilliant just released IDE called Android Studio.

Also Derek Banas has started a set of excellent instructional videos.

So in the new tradition of extreme programming where they say it's a good idea to have a partner, I thought someone might be interested in partnering up in this learning process.

Please contact me by e-mail, phone, this thread, google plus or any other way that is convenient to yourself if you are interested.
