Been tinkering with access for years. Managed to avoid VB programming but, not sure for how much longer

. The friendly members on this forum have prompted me to take the plunge. I will start with minor tweaks and small routines and work my way up.

VBA isn't all that difficult once you get past the fear factor. It was intimidating for me at first too, but this forum and reference books I got helped a lot.

You might try using this free tutorial on VBA. It is a pretty good one and since it is free, it is priced right.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any tips and links to help files to get me started are much appreciated.

My biggest tip is to check out that set of tutorials. They are pretty thorough and you'll be writing code in no time if you work through it.

Hi, Well spotted, yes you are correct. The name goes way back to my first online gaming experience. Now it's all COD4 (not keen on MW2)
Did you play the game online too?
For this forum, maybe I should have used the name "AccessNumpty"
