I am trying to create a report that links a table with another table using the web query. I want to use a multivalue look up field from one table and link it to the ID in another table. My problem is that Microsoft Access won't allow me to do this. When I try to create a report without using the query I am able to make the report work in Access but I cannot upload it into SharePoint. I receive a Web Compatibility issue when syncing my Access database to SharePoint.
The main task I am trying to complete, either by using a query or by combining the tables through the creation of a blank report, is showing the text value of the multivalue lookup field instead of its ID.
The documents I have found so far on the internet tell you how to do this for the database but not for a web compatible database. Is there a way to show the text value instead of the ID value for a multi-value lookup field in a report?
