Does anyone support the Paid Subscriptions for this forum?
Silver, Gold, Diamond.
Is this a way to keep this forum operational and give back?
I'm considering it.
Thoughts?

Yes, I've seen a number of people who've done that. They have a banner under their user name. I don't know the number, probably only Jon the site owner does. It would certainly be a way of supporting the forum.

There are a reasonable number of paid members at each level.
Obviously such payments help offset the costs as do the advertisements that most of us ignore or hate.
If you do become a paid supporter, one benefit is a dramatic reduction in the adverts you'll see.
IIRC there is a way to viewing that list of supporters' names though I can't recall how to do so at the moment.

I was a Gold supporter for a while in partial payback for the immense help I got from the forum many years ago. Having since become one of the moderators (no link with being a supporter!) I think I'm now contributing to support the forum in a different way

It's an option for anyone, whether someone seeking help or someone offering help, to help offset some of the cost for the server. Anyone can choose to participate or not participate.

I am not against the idea, but I would rather my organization pay the price, but doubt they will.

As you can see, I took the plunge.
Only $25 a year.
I did it for two reasons:
1. Appreciation for all the help this forum has given me.
2. To aid in the continuation of this forum. Keep on going!
No judgment here if you don’t want too or can’t.
Just thought I’d share my reasons.

My reasons were similar. It was this forum that helped me land the best job I've ever had...in my mind AWF was entitled to a portion of my salary, albeit a very SMALL portion!

I'll pay you with Italian cuisine. How does a half-eaten Napolitano pizza sound??

Might still be pretty good, I just slice off the eaten area. :-0
