Question Cannot find the database or some database objects the page refers to. Update the....

Hi all,

Having a problem when trying to create DAP's using Access 2003.
I get the above mentioned error message when using SAVE AS to save an access table.

If i try to SAVE AS with a form it says "could not find field"

I guess this is some kind of obvious connection problem, if so could someone please put me out of my misery as i have no luck all day...

Thanks in advance

OK, this was posted almost 3 years ago, so I'm probably talking to myself - but as I'm just learning DAP, talking to myself is a sometimes a useful exercise.

I encountered a similar error message when I created a new DAP by copying an existing one and editing it in a text editor to change the recordset. It was because the table I was referencing in the new page lacked a field that was present in the the old one. I opened up the new DAP in design view, found the erroneous field and deleted it form the page, saved, and everything was fine.
