Hi all,

I have a report, group and sort by Inspection
Group and sort by Task
the query it runs from indicates that one specific inspection has 6 tasks
when I run the report, only 3 tasks displays for this inspection.
any explanation why?

also, I need to provide a sign off space at the end of each group, this is not a controlled field so can not select it as a group.
if have tried a few scenarios and all I could do was to place this in the page footer which now leave a huge gap and puts the next record on the next page. any solution of have the signage space grouped below the inspection and task header?

we cant guess.
does the query in the report show all the records?
does the query have joins to many tables, or criteria, thus limiting the results? (usu via inner joins)

any images to help us?

Yes the query in the report shows all the relevant records but for some reason only max 3 is displayed from second grouping.

There are only 3 different values in the list when grouped by Task.
To see all the individual records, remove the grouping

My tasks are grouped in the Task headed.
If I remove it my tasks will not be displayed, grouped or sorted

Not sure what you are referring to.
in my first image, there are 8 record with the same value as Inspection number
That must give me 1 record in the report under the inspection group
then there is 8 records in the Task field which are all different
in the report under Task group, these 8 records should be listed under task as per the next attachment but only 3 of those 8 are displayed

No it doesn't. The image in post 3 shows only three unique Tasks which is why you only get three when you group on it.
