Access not opening with Access Runtime 2013 (1 Viewer)

Hi Experts!

I have deployed my access database with an excel linked to the database. Excel is in my desktop. But when i tried from another PC in which Access runtime 2013 installed am not able to open it. Error showing as attached. Can any one help me to fix it. Tried some registry location and all. But nothing works!!! :banghead:

have you tried the latest runtime?
I had an old RT fail, but the new one ran fine.

Yes but it doesn't open.

the error message you showed is a standard warning for access runtime.

if the database doesn't open when you click open, there is another issue.

Can you open the database on your own PC in runtime mode. (change the database name to .accdr)

Oh no. I am not able to open when i rename it to accdr. Is there any specific reason for this? I have a linked excel and a query from that excel in the database.

I really don't know if the excel link is a red herring or not. I don't link to excel.

As you have the same issue on your own PC, the problem would appear to be the database, and not the client machine.
