Hi,
My name is Lindsay and I am based in Melbourne, Australia.
I have been using databases from before WYSIWYG. Started with dBase and now use Access. Have read and had discussions re the attributes of Access, the good and the bad. I now use MySQL as the back end for the larger applications, developing firstly using Access.
I believe the end result is what counts and as the applications I have developed over the years have provided the tools for companies and users to achieve the desired end I believe the means by which you get there is not necessarily important.
I have used the forums here over many years to solve issues and found them very useful however inevitably there are questions not quite answered. That's why I'm here.
