Open report and set subform id (1 Viewer)

I have 3 forms (form 1, 2 and 3) and 3 Tables (1,2,3) . The control source for form1 is table 1 , the control source for form 2 is table 2 and the control source for form 3 is table 3. I have added all the forms to 1 report as sub forms. The report does not have a control source as it is just used to place all the sub forms. What i need to do is set the id (record source) of the subforms. So for example if i wanted to open the report and set the subforms id to 3 is that possible ? Could i use something like Docmd.openreport set subform ids = 3 ??
