I would like to create an executable file that can be use on a computer that does not have access. What I found was to save the file as a .accde. When I try to run it on a computer that doesn't have access it wants me to "open with" Am I doing something wrong. I am using Microsoft access professional plus 2010. Thanks

Saving an ACCDB file as ACCDE creates a compiled version where the code cannot be viewed.
Although sometimes referred to as an Access executable, this is misleading as it is not a standalone file.
You always need either a full version of Access or the runtime version as already mentioned
