Reports slow to display print preview (1 Viewer)

I have a report. Each page of the report is for a different student. Instead of having info in the detail section, I have 3 list boxes whose row source are each connected to a query to display the information I need. The list boxes need to requery for every student. It takes forever to run this report-over 10 minutes. If I don't requery the listboxes, the report comes up after 2-3 minutes, but the information in the list boxes displays the first student's information for every student. The listboxes are in the footer of a group that I made called the PrintedName Footer. If I put it in the details, I'd have the listboxes show many times.

For me your report sounds very strange, can you show a print screen how it looks like.

do you have other reports?

sometimes report problems are caused by the selected printer being a "network printer", ort some such. See if changing the default printer makes a difference

Not sure whats going on but I'm thinking you need a report/subreport set up - ?
